Our History: The Story of the Maronite Scouts in Nazareth
A Legacy of Faith and Service in the Heart of the Galilee.
The Maronite Scouts of Nazareth were established with a vision to provide the youth of our community with a space to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Grounded in the ancient traditions of the Maronite Church and the universal principles of scouting, our troop has been a cornerstone of Nazareth’s social fabric for decades.
From our early beginnings, the troop has served as more than just a youth group; it is a school of life. We have marched through the historic streets of the Old City, celebrated the Feast of the Annunciation with pride, and raised generations of leaders who carry the values of Nazareth into the world. Our history is written in every summer camp in the Galilee hills and every service project held within our parish. We continue to honor those who came before us by mentoring the scouts of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.
Mission & Values
Our mission is to empower young people to become responsible citizens and faithful witnesses to their heritage through the Scouting Method.
1. Faith
As Maronite Scouts, our spiritual life is at the center of everything we do. We aim to:

2. Service
"Always Ready" is not just a motto; it is a commitment to our neighbors. We prioritize:
- Community outreach and helping those in need.
- Civic responsibility and active participation in local events.
- Environmental stewardship of the beautiful land of Galilee.
3. Scouting Principles
We adhere to the global Scout Law and Promise, focusing on:
- Character: Building integrity, honesty, and self-reliance.
